AboutInsolita predonum; unusual predators. This group is dedicated for the carnivorous creatures your imaginations brings to life - those you can’t find in real life. Bring here your mythical beasts, dark monsters, alien animals and other out-of-this-world creatures of prey! All forms of visual art are accepted - draw, paint, sculpt, manipulate, craft… you name it! Artists of all levels are welcome. Rules Be nice to others. This is internet, but it doesn't hurt to be polite. Everyone can join! We can affiliate with groups that have something in common with this group - if you'd like to affiliate, send in a request! If you start acting out, you get banned - we want to keep this group nice place for fellow deviants. Naturally, dA's rules apply here as well! No spam, no art thieves and so on! Do you know an artist here on dA who you think should be invited to this group? Feel free to suggest and admins will invite them. Members and affiliates can promote contests, other activities, groups, commissions, etc through this group! Just send in a note and we'll find it a slot  Submission guidelinesMost importantly, remember these three things:  Only creatures/animals. No humans, humanoids or alike. Anthropomorphic creatures can be accepted if the human features are slight (please keep these to minimum). Shapeshifters are ok, but they must be in animal/creature form. If it exists or has existed, it wont be accepted. This group is for out-of-this-world animals. Extinct species still counts as a real animal. The creatures have to be predators - this group is here to praise all those creatures of prey. To be clear: your animal must hunt it's food. The submission limit is currently 5 deviations per week per user. Only members can submit artwork to the group gallery. Only finished art! (sketches and linearts may be accepted depending on the case) The submitted art should have good quality - meaning no lined papers, no unnecessary white space around the drawing, no photos/scans with poor quality. The creature should be the main subject of the deviation - there can be other things too, such as normal animals, humans, landscapes etc, but the main focus should be on the creature! Submit to the folder in which your deviation fits the best. Deviations cannot be submitted to featured, an admin chooses which pieces go there Mature contents are accepted, just keep it tasteful and use correct mature tags. Mature content deviation without a tag will be declined! No fanart No normal animals with unnatural colours ("sparkledogs") or other slight unnatural features (e.g. extra tails or supernatural powers). Creatures can be based on normal animals though! No adoptables (adoptable sheets) If your submission gets declined, we will provide a reason why! If you have questions or anything, please contact via note (send your note to the group or directly to the founder, ~silverybeast ) Group Favourites is for tutorials, walkthroughs, stock photos and other resources that are related with the themes of this group. Mentioned things wont be accepted to the group gallery (reference sheets are ok and linearts can be accepted, though) and should be suggested to group favourites only.FoldersFeatured You cannot submit here; an admin picks the best pieces to this folder Fantasy Mythical creatures, magical beasts and other fantasy-themed animals. Sci-Fi Alien species, techno-organics, extraterrestrial predators… maybe your creature is a result of gene manipulation? It belongs here. Horror Undeads, scary and macabre monsters, dark and demonic creatures etc. Misc Submit here only if your deviation doesn't really fit into another category or you are unsure where to submit. Contests Submit here deviations made for contests hosted by this group. Folder is open for submissions when there is a contest running. |
